Summary:

This hair style creates a contemporary, classic '40s feel using fringe pins to secure. Begin by sectioning smoothed hair into 3 distinct sections, created at an angle. You can learn how to comb through, section off and tuck away using your thumb and fringe pins. The technique involves back brushing, or tail back teasing. Secure each roll with a fringe pin, and leave out some hair to create softness. You can learn how to personalize for each client, using different numbers of rolls and different positioning of hair left out of the rolls. Balance is a key to creating this look and don’t be afraid to stand back and look at your work!
